One-Pedal Driving (Regen)
The first time you lift off the accelerator and the car actually slows down, it feels like magic. It’s just the motor running in reverse and stuffing electrons back into the battery. No brake dust, no pad wear—just smooth decel.
How to use it
Drive with one pedal. Ease off to slow, come off completely to stop (if you’ve got Stopping Mode → Hold in Controls → Driving). You’ll barely touch the brake in normal traffic. Yes, it’s weird at first. You’ll get over it in a day.
Cold weather
When the battery’s cold, regen gets limited—you’ll see the dotted line on the power bar. Navigate to a Supercharger or set a scheduled departure so the car preconditions; then you get full regen back. Winter mode is a thing.
Why it rules
Anticipate traffic, coast into stops, and let regen do the work. Better range, happier brakes (they last forever), and you look like you know what you’re doing.
